Jonathan Lee is a Jacksonville-based photographer, educator, and speaker whose work brings together technical precision, creative problem-solving, and real-world experience. As the owner of J.W. Lee Media, he creates professional photography and media for real estate, architectural, commercial, and creative clients while also teaching photographers how to build stronger skills, better workflows, and more sustainable businesses.

A Certified Professional Photographer, Master Photographer, and Photographic Craftsman, Jonathan has earned recognition through Professional Photographers of America and the Florida photography community for both his image-making and service. His work has received merit and Image Excellence recognition, and he has been named Photographer of the Year three times by the Professional Photographers of North Florida.

Before building his photography career, Jonathan spent 21 years in U.S. Navy aviation, serving as a Jet Engine Mechanic, Drill Instructor, Government Contractor, and Master Training Specialist. That background shaped the way he approaches his work today: with discipline, clarity, accountability, and a deep respect for doing things the right way.

Today, Jonathan’s work extends beyond client photography. He teaches workshops, mentors photographers, speaks at conferences and professional guilds, creates educational content, and partners with brands that serve photographers, real estate professionals, and creative entrepreneurs.
